Biographical InformationAlbert Heath Carrier joined Richard Sharp Smith in 1906 and the firm Smith & Carrier was created. The firm was in business until Smith's death in 1924. The partnership was responsible for many of Asheville's finest domestic dwellings in the Grove Park, Albemarle Park, Kenilworth, West Asheville, and Montford sections of the city. Their work influenced many of the other architects working in the city during the early years of the twentieth century. |
